My love for fashion and all things fashion related began as soon as I left my mother’s womb I think. I have always experimented with clothes- looking back, some outfits worked better than others! However, it has only been in the last 5 years that I have made fashion my life. I started a photography course and found myself falling in love with the models I was shooting and how clothes fell, hugged and sometimes completely changed their bodies- taking on a alternative personality each outfit change. I moved on to study commercial photography at degree level, specializing in fashion photography. Now entering the final few months left at university I am ready to spread my wings and throw myself into the fashion industry. I have grown to be particularly interested in Fashion PR and Fashion Buying as possible routes when I graduate.
I decided to create this blog, not just for myself, but for some of the amazing people I have had a chance to work with over the last few years, as a way to showcase their work. I’m always on the move looking for new locations to shoot, in turn coming across lots of weird, wonderful, amazing and beautiful people, so I shall dedicate a lot of this blog to people I have met on my travels who have interesting styles [pictures, questions about their favourite designers, high street shops etc].
In my time as an aspiring fashion photographer, I have come across many beautiful men and women who don’t even realize how much potential they actually have! This saddens me as their beautiful faces are going to waste! I shall also be posting men and women who I have street cast to help get these beautiful people noticed and working! I know how hard it is for student photographers and fashionistas also, especially to find models on the cheap, so maybe my blog is a good place to start looking!
